New Scream movie gets retro-styled poster

A few weeks ago we saw the Dolby Cinema poster for the new Scream film, which should be released in theaters on January 14, 2022. This poster was based on artwork created by fans and created by Creepy Duck Design, and now the Scream The Twitter page shared another piece of Creepy Duck art, a retro-styled poster for the new movie that looks like it came straight out of the 1980s.

You can see Creepy Duck’s latest creation in the Twitter integration below:

the Scream “Legacy-what” comes from Ready or Not (watch it HERE) directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett. The screenplay was written by James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick. Vanderbilt also produced the film for Project X Entertainment, alongside Paul Neinstein and William Sherak. Chad Villella, Gary Barber, Peter Oillataguerre, Ron Lynch, Cathy Konrad and Marianne Maddalena are the executive producers alongside the original Scream writer Kevin Williamson.

The film has the following synopsis:

Twenty-five years after a series of brutal murders shocked the peaceful town of Woodsboro, a new killer donned the Ghostface mask and begins targeting a group of teenagers to resurrect the secrets of the town’s murderous past.
